Motor Trade Insurance

Do You Review How Much Your Business Is Paying For Its Insurance?

January 21, 2021 by mti

Unless you are very fortunate, when you receive your renewal notice for your motor trade insurance, it will no doubt be going to increase for the next year’s cover. Of course, we are assuming that you bother to compare the cost of what you have been paying in the last 12 months with what your existing insurance provider intends to charge you for the next 12 months.

If you don’t spend time checking this you will not be alone as there are an awful lot of people who do not bother to do so. It wouldn’t take you long to check this out as when you receive your renewal notice for your motor trade insurance the insurer has to tell you what they have been charging you over the past year and what they will be going to charge you for the next 12 months.

Your policy will presumably include cover for driving not only cars owned by the business but your customers’ cars as well. Therefore, you may find it of interest to read that according to figures contained in the Car Insurance Price Index the average cost of fully comprehensive car insurance has fallen from £815 per annum to £763 per annum in the 12 months to the end of December 2020. That is a fall of £52 per annum.

This may encourage you to review your motor trade insurance when you receive your renewal notice. Why not spend a small amount of time checking to see if you can get the cover you presently have for a lower premium. After all, there are an awful lot of providers of this type of cover so it is a very competitive marketplace.

In this respect, why not get in touch with us and we will do all that we can to help you obtain a competitive motor trade insurance quotation without any obligation to proceed. We look forward to hearing from you.
